Petitioner complains that the private respondents have been blocking the drain by way of illegal construction. To that effect, informations were furnished to the police authorities but till date no steps have been taken and only a general diary entry being GDE No. 726 dated 23.07.2025 has been registered.

I have considered the representation which is dated 28.07.2025. There are certain accusations but the same do not make out any cognizable offence. Accordingly, petitioner would approach the civil court for necessary remedies so far as the illegal construction is concerned. So far as the other

accusations are concerned, for trespassing and/or hot altercation which has been referred to in the information furnished, necessary steps be taken before the jurisdictional criminal court.

The concerned courts would take steps by adhering to the provisions of law.

As none appears on behalf of the State Ms.

Sanchayita De, learned advocate is directed to represent the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities. A copy of the writ petition be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the State.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 23084 of 2025 is disposed of.
