The petitioner and the private respondent are sisters and there appears to be a civil dispute between them with regard to the property in question. The petitioner lodged a complaint before the concerned police station and is aggrieved by the fact that the complaint has not been registered.

It appears from the report submitted by the State and is also submitted on behalf of the State that a specific case has been initiated on the complaint lodged by the petitioner and prosecution has been submitted. The police authority is keeping strict vigil over the area to prevent any untoward incident or breach of peace and tranquility. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that no fruitful purpose be served by keeping the writ petition pending.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
