1. Learned lawyer for the petitioner contends petitioner is in custody for over two years. He prays for bail on the score of delay in trial.

2. Learned lawyer for the State submits bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected in April, 2024. Trial is in progress.

3. We have considered the materials on record. 121.38 Kgs. ganja was recovered from a vehicle. Petitioner was the driver of the vehicle. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected on merits on April 23, 2024 in CRM (NDPS) 701 of 2024. Trial is in progress.

4. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to entitle the petitioner on bail either on merits or on the ground of delay at this stage. Accordingly, the bail prayer is rejected.

5. We request the prosecution to conclude examination of witnesses at the earliest. We also request the Trial Court to Signed By :
