It appears from the report and is also submitted by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioners and the private opposite party that the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties and the private opposite party is not willing to proceed with the matter any further.

In view of the above, allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise.

The criminal revision being CRR No. 3991 of 2024 is allowed.

As a consequence the connected application being CRAN No. 1 of 2024 is disposed of.

The proceeding being G.R.Case No. 10 of 2023 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Sealdah be quashed.

The petitioners be set at liberty at once and discharged from their bail bonds.
