Heard learned lawyers for both the parties.

Petitioner is in custody for about more than a year. He renews his bail prayer.

Learned counsel appearing for the State submits date has been fixed for recording of evidence.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the witness shows petitioner had assaulted his wife and other in-laws. He also assaulted his son resulting in his death. 5.

In view of nature of offence and as date has been fixed for recording evidence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly the application for bail, is thus, rejected. Trial be expedited.
