The petitioner complains that the private respondents/ neighbours have intimidated and threatened her and her family members to such an extent that they were forced to leave their normal place of residence and stay elsewhere. The petitioner has also lodged a complaint with the Nabadwip Police Station, and complains of inaction.

Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions dated 28th March, 2023 issued by the Inspector-in-Charge, Nabadwip Police Station addressed to the learned Government Pleader and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that FIR being Nabadwip Police Station Case No.567 dated 18th December, 2021 has been registered. It further appears that there are long

standing disputes between the petitioner and the private respondents and civil suits are pending. The police have taken out proceedings under sections 107 and 116 of the CrPC on three several occasions in August and November 2021.

The private respondents are represented. Counsel for the private respondents submits that political colour given by the petitioner to private disputes, is baseless. This Court does not wish to enter into the disputes since the same are pending before the Civil Court. However, the petitioner and her family members shall be escorted back into their residence by the Nabadwip Police. Nabadwip Police shall maintain regular vigil over the property. If necessary, Nabadwip Police shall also consider posting of police picket outside the petitioner's residence.

The private respondents undertake before this Court not to disturb the petitioner.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
