1. The Chairman of the Dankuni Municipality is personally present in Court in response to the Contempt Rule issued.

2. Affidavit of compliance on behalf of the Chairman of the municipality filed in Court today is taken on record.

3. It has been submitted that the Board of Councillors of the municipality is non functional and the Sub Divisional Officer has taken charge of the municipality.

4. The order of the Executive Officer of the municipality dated 10th June, 2026 is annexed to the affidavit of compliance.

5. It appears that the order of the Court has been complied with, though belatedly.

6. In view of the above, there is no requirement to proceed with the contempt application any further. The same stands disposed of.

7. Contempt Rule stands discharged.

8. Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
