Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner had filed a petition of complaint against the accused/ private respondents in Case No. C-07/2020 before the learned ACJM, Bongaon, North 24 Parganas. Despite issuance of summons, the accused did not appear. Police is doing nothing to inspire confidence. The petitioner was given threats to withdraw the complaint.

Learned counsel appearing for the State relies upon the report and submits as follows. The petitioner tried to execute the Warrant of Arrest, but the accused absconded. Prayers for Proclamation and Attachment were made before the learned Magistrate. As regards the allegation of threats given to the petitioner, enquiry reveals nothing.

I have heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties and have perused the writ petition and the report filed by the State.

It does not appear that a case of police inaction is made out by the petitioner.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed with no order as to costs.
