The revisional application has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying for quashing of proceedings in GR Case no. 5435 of 2014 arising out of Women Police Station Case no. 86 of 2014 dated 19.11.2014 under Section 498A/506/494 of the Indian Penal Code pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalpaiguri. Since filing of this application in the year 2015, the petitioner has never appeared nor did his advocate appear before the court.

In my considered view, no purpose would be served by keeping this matter pending as no interim order had been passed.

Accordingly, the revisional application is dismissed for default.
