Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

Considering the nature of the injury and the statement of the victim recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure which directly implicates the petitioner of physical and mental torture and demand for dowry prima facie established, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
