1. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the Special Officer, being the contemnor no. 2 is currently not in charge of the Mekhyada Anchalik SKUS Limited.

2. The communication of the Inspector of Cooperative Societies, Kashipur Development Block dated 2nd January, 2025 indicating the name of the Directors of the said Mekhyada Anchalik SKUS Limited has been produced before this Court.

3. It appears from the cause title of the writ petition that none of the Directors of the Mekhyada Anchalik SKUS Limited was impleaded as party respondent. It is only the Special Officer who was in charge of the Mekhyada Anchalik SKUS Limited was impleaded as party respondent.

4. As the Special Officer is no longer in charge of the said Mekhyada Anchalik SKUS Limited, accordingly, the contempt application against the said contemnor will not be maintainable.

5. The contempt application stands dismissed.

6. The Contempt Rule stands discharged.

7. It will be open for the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceeding for redressal of his grievance in accordance with law, if so advised.

8. Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
