Ahsanuzzaman ...for the State Mr. Tirthankar Dey ...for the Corporation An application dated December 7, 2022 filed by the petitioner online seeking mutation of the property vide Application No.BNMC/22-23/MU/002049 in respect of two separate properties is pending consideration for a considerable period of time. No reason has been mentioned for the delay in mutation. The petitioner submits that the application is shown awaiting for assessment in the official portal. The State and the Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation are represented.

The writ petition is disposed of by directing the Corporation to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application seeking mutation in accordance with law, after giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other necessary parties, if any, at the earliest, but positively within a period of ten weeks from the date of communication of this order.

If the Corporation is of the view that there is any deficiency on the part of the petitioner, then the same

shall be intimated to the petitioner forthwith for rectification of the same.

Mutation shall be made upon compliance of all necessary formalities.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
