Affidavit-of-service filed today in Court be kept with the records.

The petitioner seeks new electricity connection. It appears that the petitioner has already deposited the amount mentioned in the quotation raised by WBSEDCL.

Learned advocate representing the WBSEDCL submits that the final inspection has already been made and though the meter room was found to be complete but internal wiring and panel wiring are incomplete. The same is required to be completed by the consumer.

The petitioner is directed to intimate the WBSEDCL about the completion of the internal wiring and panel wiring.

Upon receipt of the information of completion of the wiring work, steps shall be taken by the Distribution Company Limited to supply new electric connection to the petitioner at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of information of completion of the wiring work.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

The instruction filed by the WBSEDCL be retained with the records.

7. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
