The petitioner alleges that her husband who is a retired employee of Indian Air Force has forged her signature and submitted the same before his employer for obtaining the pensionary benefits. 2.

It appears that the pension has already been granted in favour of the employee. There is neither any rule nor convention for an employer to verify the signature of the spouse of the employee submitted along with the pension documents. As the allegation is of fraud, the petitioner ought to have lodged complaint with the police. The prayer of the petitioner directing the employer to initiate proceeding against the retired employee for allegedly making false signature and forging the signature of the petitioner cannot be allowed.

The writ petition thus fails and is hereby dismissed.

It will be open for the petitioner to pursue her remedy before the competent forum in accordance with law, if so advised.
