Affidavit-of-service so filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.

Petitioner was aggrieved by the fact that in spite of a complaint lodged with the Officer-in-Charge, Haripal Police Station, no action was taken in respect of the accusations made against the respondents/accused persons.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that subsequently police authorities during the pendency of the writ petition has taken appropriate action.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Haripal Police Station Case No.591/2024 dated 27.09.2024 has been registered under Sections 329(3/115(2)/ 117(2)/76/352/351(2) of BNS, 2023.

Having considered that the police authorities have already taken steps and the learned advocate for the State submits that the investigation of the case is in progress, I direct the police authorities to take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 23541 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
