The investigation in connection with Chandannagar Police Station Case No. 125/2025 is still in progress. Petitioner was also earlier arrested in connection with the instant case and subsequently released on bail.

Having considered the anxiety of the petitioner and the nature of the dispute which is persisting, I direct the Investigating Officer of Chandannagar Police Station Case No. 125/25 to take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. Once the charge sheet is submitted, the concerned jurisdictional Court would take steps adhering to the provisions of law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 23284 of 2025 is disposed of.
