The writ petitioner is aggrieved by alleged inaction on the part of the Bardhaman Sadar Police Station in respect of complaint dated 14th September, 2022.

It is submitted that certain persons under the leadership of the respondent no. 5, are attempting to fill up a pond and are also attempting to usurp the property.

The Police are represented.

It is submitted that enquiries have been made on the petitioner's complaint and there is no filling

up of a pond. The pond is being used by all local villagers.

The Bardhaman Sadar Police shall ensure that the pond is not in any way filled up and there is no breach of peace in the area.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
