Learned advocate representing the applicants complains of violation of the judgment and order dated 8th February, 2018 passed by a Coordinate Bench in the connected writ petition.

It has been submitted that in view of creation of new district namely Jhargram, amendment of the cause-title of this contempt application is necessary in order to array the present incumbents as additional alleged contemnors.

Accordingly, leave is granted to amend the cause-title of this contempt application and to implead the present incumbents as additional alleged contemnors in course of this day.

After such amendment is carried out, the learned advocate representing the applicants is directed to serve notice upon the present incumbents being additional alleged contemnors enclosing a copy of this order and the copy of the contempt application by two weeks from date and file an affidavit of service on the adjourned date.

List the contempt application under the same heading for further consideration on 17th May, 2024.
