The petitioner is an Assistant Professor in Bengali at Netaji Subhas Ashram Mahavidyalaya, Purulia. He made an application on November 04, 2020 before the Director of Public Instruction in the prescribed form seeking transfer to another college.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that till date the said application for transfer has not decided by the Director of Public Instruction. In that view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Director of Public Instruction to dispose of the application for transfer dated November 04, 2020 in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, WPA 22717 of 2023 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
