Mr. Manojit Bhattacharya ...for the Petitioner Mr. Aayush Sharma ...for CESC The petitioner seeks electricity connection for her premises of Floor No.GR, 176, Thana Road, Khardaha700116. Let the affidavit of service filed by the petitioner be kept with the records.

I am of the view that since the petitioner is in settled possession of the premises in question, she should be provided with an electricity connection.

In view of the aforesaid, I direct the officials of CESC to conduct a fresh inspection in the first week of November, 2025.

After the inspection, if it is found that the electricity connection can be given to the petitioner, the same should be given within a period of two weeks thereafter. The Officer-in-Charge of Khardah Police Station shall extend necessary assistance to the officials of CESC for the

implementation of this order. The cost of such police assistance shall be borne by the petitioner. Furthermore, the police are authorized to break open the padlock of the meter room, if required, for the purpose of effecting the connection.

If for any technical reason or any other reason whatsoever, the electricity connection cannot be given to the petitioner then the reason thereof shall be communicated to the petitioner.

Accordingly, WPA 23414 of 2025 stands disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
