Petitioner complains that during the pendency of the writ petition also petitioner and his family members have been attacked. To that effect, information has been furnished before the police authorities. Police authorities are directed to take steps in respect of the subsequent injury so sustained after verifying veracity of such information.

Report submitted by the State reflects that on the basis of the information of the husband of the writ petitioner Canning PS Case No. 592/25 was registered and on the basis of complaint of the writ petitioner Canning PS Case No. 642/25 have been

registered. On the other hand learned advocate for the respondent no. 4 submits that the respondent no. 4 is admitted in the hospital because of injury sustained on 23.09.2025.

In view of the petitioner and the private respondents being at loggerhead because of long standing land dispute which is reflected from the police report, I direct that the police authorities would enquire regarding the principal persons of the petitioner's family and the respondent's family who are responsible for commission of repeated offences. The report be submitted before the learned ACJM, Baruipur in seisin of the matter. Learned ACJM, Baruipur would after assessing the reports direct the concerned persons to stay outside the jurisdiction of South 24 Parganas.

Learned advocate for the State is directed to send an information to the SDPO/Additional SP in charge of Canning Police Station so that appropriate steps adhering to the directions passed above is strictly complied with.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 22984 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to both the parties.
