The matter stood adjourned on October 29, 2025 at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

It appears that the petitioner defaulted in payment of the loan amount. A proceeding before the Debts Recovery Tribunal at the instance of the petitioner stood dismissed vide judgment dated June 20, 2022 in TSA No.1327 of 2016. An appeal (Appeal No.148 of 2023) preferred assailing the judgment also stood dismissed by the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal on February 5, 2024.

In the instant writ petition, the petitioner prays for redemption of the property as she intends to pay off the entire dues of the bank.

Learned counsel for the bank submits, upon instructions, that the secured asset had long been

sold off to the successful auction purchaser. At this stage, there is hardly any scope to return the property back to the petitioner.

However, as the petitioner remains unrepresented, the writ petition stands dismissed.
