Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits she is the aggrieved wife. She has taken out a proceeding under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act praying for various reliefs. She has also filed an application for interim relief. A sum of Rs.80,000/- per month was granted to her as interim monetary relief. Contending that the amount is inadequate and not commensurate to the income of the opposite party no. 2/husband she has preferred an appeal. Appeal was instituted in June, 2024 and has not been disposed of till date. Accordingly, she prays for expeditious disposal of the appeal.

2/husband contends that the appeal has been part-heard and date has been fixed for petitioner's reply on 12th March, 2025. 4.

In light of the aforesaid facts I request the appellate court to hear the opposition party no. 2/husband on

the next date fixed and if the hearing cannot be concluded on that day the matter may be fixed at a short interval and be disposed of as expeditiously as possible without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. 5.

I make it clear that I have not expressed any opinion with regard to the merits of the case. 6.

With these directions, application is disposed of. 7.
