Mr. Paritosh Sinha, Advocate, who usually appears on behalf of the State, is requested to appear for the State. The competent authority is directed to regularize his appointment.

The Advocate-on-record for the petitioners serves a copy of the contempt petition upon Mr. Paritosh Sinha, Advocate.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that notwithstanding an order dated November 22, 2024, directing the Prodhan to consider a representation filed by the petitioners dated July 14, 2024, no steps have been taken in the matter.

By the order dated November 22, 2024, this Court while disposing of the writ petition had inter alia directed as follows :

"in view of the above, WPA 26544 of 2024 stands disposed of by

directing the respondent no.4 to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 15th July, 2024 within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order."

Mr. Sinha, Advocate on behalf of the alleged contemnor no.1 appears and submits that appropriate steps would be taken to dispose of the representation within 8 weeks from the date of communication of this order. In view of the submissions made on behalf of the alleged contemnor no.1/Pradhan, no further order is required to be passed in this contempt application. Mr. Sinha, Advocate is granted liberty to communicate this order through the appropriate Police Authorities if necessary.

With the above directions, CPAN 1639 of 2025 stands disposed of.
