Report submitted by the State reflects that the Officer-in-Charge, Hare Street Police Station has served upon the petitioner. However, in spite of such service, none appears on behalf of the petitioner. The earlier report which was submitted before this Court enclosed a copy of the steps taken by the Enquiry Officer of Hare Street Police Station. The report reflects that there was non-co-operation from the petitioner himself. However, the Hare Street Police Station on enquiry found that the place of occurrence was within the jurisdiction of Baruipur Police Station and Sutahata Police Station. Accordingly, information was sent to the concerned police stations by the Enquiry Officer of Hare Street Police Station. Having regard to the steps taken and the petitioner not interested to pursue the present writ petition, I am of the view that further directions in the writ petition are unwarranted.

Accordingly, WPA 23581 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
