The writ petition is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner, school authority and the West Bengal Central School Service Commission.

The learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that the transfer application of the petitioner is pending before the West Bengal Central School Service Commission for taking final decision.

Ms. Supriya Dubey, learned advocate representing the Commission submits on instruction as on 27th June, 2022 the third vacancy which was indicated by the petitioner in his transfer application in terms of preference was lying vacant. However, it has also been submitted that present position with regard to the said

vacancy is not known to the learned advocate for the Commission.

In view of aforesaid submissions made on behalf of the parties writ petition stands disposed of directing the Chairman, West Bengal Central School Service Commission being respondent no. 2 to take decision on the transfer application of the petitioner by 4 (four) weeks from the date of communication of this order. The decision to be taken by the Chairman shall be communicated to the petitioner by 1 (one) week thereafter.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
