The elected candidate has not been made a party to this writ petition.

In any event, such an election dispute has to be adjudicated by the competent Civil Court in terms of Section 79 of the West Bengal Panchayat Election Act, 2003.

In that view of the matter, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

Accordingly, WPA 22781 of 2023 is dismissed.

Needless to mention that dismissal of this writ petition will not prevent the petitioner from pursuing the statutory remedy if he is entitled to do so in law. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
