This is an application for expeditious hearing of Matrimonial Suit No. 288 of 2019 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 11th Court at Alipore, District 24-Parganas (South).

By an Order dated 13th February, 2024 the petitioner was directed to serve a copy of this application upon the learned advocate representing the opposite party in the court below.

Today an affidavit of service has been filed wherefrom it appears that the learned advocate representing the opposite party in the court below has refused to accept the copy of this revisional application.

Affidavit of service filed in court today is taken on record.

It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that the written statement has

already been filed and the presiding officer has also joined in the meantime.

Since this is a matrimonial suit of the year 2019, the same is required to be disposed of expeditiously.

The learned Additional District Judge, 11th Court at Alipore, District 24-Parganas (South) is requested to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No. 288 of 2019 as expeditiously as possible but preferably by the end of the year 2024 without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. CO 3352 of 2023 is disposed of accordingly.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned advocates for the parties on usual formalities.
