1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept on record.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's application under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 has been kept pending since long, beyond the statutory outer limit.

3. It is further contended that the no application under Section 17 of the 2002 Act has been filed with regard to the claim.

4. In such view of the matter, W.P.A. No. 22790 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 2, that is, the District Magistrate, North 24Parganas, Barasat to dispose of the pending application under Section 14 of the 2002 Act at the

behest of the petitioner against the private respondent/borrower as expeditiously as possible, positively within November 17, 2023.

5. There will be no order as to costs.

6. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
