Mr. Swapan Kumar Dutta, learned senior Advocate and Additional Government Pleader appears for the jurisdictional Sub-Divisional Officer.

Mr. Asim Hati, learned counsel appears for the alleged contemnor/Prodhan, Berachampa-II. Pursuant to the order dated April 11, 2025 cost as directed by this court cost has been paid on April 17, 2025 by the alleged contemnor. The money receipt produced before this court today is taken on record.

In view of the above, nothing further survives in this contempt proceeding as the direction of the court has already been complied with.

The Rule, issued stands discharged.

The jurisdictional Sub-Divisional Officer who was appointed as an officer of this court, will stand discharged automatically with the handing over of charge to the concerned prodhan by way of a formal letter.

Accordingly, this contempt proceeding WPCRC 157 of 2024 stands dropped and closed.

The application WPCRC 157 of 2024 stands disposed of.
