The writ petitioner complains that the private respondent/wife, with the help of some local people, is torturing the petitioner. Admittedly, the petitioner stays far away from the house of the private respondent. 2.

The private respondent/wife has lodged a complaint against the petitioner, which has resulted in FIR under Section 498A of the IPC.

Counsel for the State submits that two complaints have been registered as FIR. Investigation has been completed and the charge sheet has been filed. Likewise, FIR registered at the instance of the private respondent/wife has also been investigated and the charge sheet has been filed. The fourth complaint of the writ petitioner in February, is pending investigation.

It is ordered that investigation into FIR No. 177 of 2023 dated 10.02.2023 be completed within one month from date.

The Burdwan Sadar Police Station shall ensure that the petitioner is not disturbed by the private respondent/wife.

Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate, representing the private respondent/wife, undertakes before this Court not to disturb the petitioner in any way. 7.

The writ petition is disposed of.

8.

There will be no order as to costs.

9.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
