C.R.R. 2993 of 2015 In the matter of: Mahendra Pradhan ......Petitioner.

The matter is listed under the heading 'Motion'. None appears for the petitioner.

The revisional application has been filed assailing an order dated 28.7.2015 passed by learned Additional District Judge and Sessions Judge, Haldia, Purba Medinipur rejecting the petitioner's prayer for discharging him in Sessions Case No. 03(04) of 2015 arising out of Mahisadal Police Station Case No. 149 of 2014 under Sections 341/325/307/379/34 of the IPC corresponding to G.R. Case No. 596 of 2014. Since inception none appeared for the petitioner and this revisioinal application is pending as a matter of statistics. No interim order has been passed during these years. The obvious conclusion is that the Jurisdictional Court must have proceeded with hearing of the case in the last six years.

The revisional application is dismissed for default. Let a copy of this order be sent to learned Additional Sessions Judge, Haldia for information.
