By this application, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of MISC (ACT VIII) CASE NO. 121 of 2019, which is pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 4th Court at Barasat, North 24 Parganas. It is submitted that the application is also pending.

This Court is of the view that the prayer of the petitioner is innocuous. Neither party stands to lose if a proceeding is disposed of expeditiously. In fact, such expeditious disposal shall enure to the benefit of the parties.

Under such circumstances, the revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned court to dispose of the MISC Case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order. Adequate opportunity shall be given to the parties to contest the same.

This court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the MISC Case. The learned court shall proceed independently and in accordance with law. 5.

The revisional application is accordingly disposed of. 6.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Copy of this application will be served upon the opposite party or the learned Advocate for the opposite party in the court below, within a week. 8.
