Petitioners are granted leave to add the Executive Director, West Bengal Small Industries Development Corporation Limited as a party respondent in this writ petition.

This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in considering the representations made by the petitioners on December 8, 2005, January 21, 2007 and June 21, 2010.

Upon hearing the counsel appearing on behalf of the parties and upon consideration of the materials on record, I am of the view that a decision is required to be taken by the respondent authority at the earliest.

Accordingly, I direct the added respondent being the Executive Director, West Bengal Small Industries Development Corporation Limited to consider the representations made by the writ petitioners on December 8, 2005, January 21, 2007 and June 21, 2010, upon granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and thereafter, pass a reasoned order within a period of six weeks from date.

The reasoned order should be communicated to the petitioners within a period of one week of passing the same. The petitioners are directed to serve copy of the writ petition along with the order passed in Court today upon the added respondent.

With these observations, WPA 19515 of 2010 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
