In terms of the order dated January 27, 2025, Ms. Suman Biswas, learned advocate for the State files the instruction, which she has received from the Director of Pension and Group Insurance, Government of West Bengal, the respondent no. 3 herein dated January 30, 2025; let it be kept with the record. The petitioner being the widowed daughter of an Assistant Teacher of a primary school has prayed for family pension. The report suggests that the Pension Payment Order in favour of the petitioner has already been issued. Mr. Maity, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the concerned Treasury Officer is now required to release the pension. In view of such development, no further order need be passed. W.P.A. 23956 of 2024 is disposed of with a direction upon the concerned Treasury Officer to release the arrear and current pension in favour of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs.
