In the matter of : Pradip Pradhan .......Petitioner Mr. Soumik Ganguly Ms. Sampa Ghosh .......for the Petitioner Mr. Kajal Ray ...for the O.P. No. 2 Mr. S.G.Mukherjee, Ld. PP Mr. Arijit Ganguly Ms. Debjani Sahu ...for the State The application being CRAN 1811 of 2018 has been preferred in connection with CRR 3152 of 2017 wherein the petitioner and the opposite party have filed a joint compromise petition for compounding the offences as they have entered into the compromise during the pendency of the revisional application. The report which was submitted on 24.2.2022, has been kept with the record.

The contents relating to the report sent by the Chandipur Police Station Case No. 162 of 2017 dated 13.8.2017 has also been taken into consideration and on an appreciation of the overall circumstances which includes oral assertion, the intention of the parties as expressed in the joint compromise petition and the nature of the offences, I am of the opinion that further continuance of the proceedings are unwarranted.

Accordingly, all further proceedings arising out of Chandipur Police Station Case No. 173 of 2017 dated 28.8.2017 under Sections 406/403/424/120B of the Indian Penal Code, are hereby quashed.
