Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Panskura Police Station Case No. 499 of 2024 dated 22.06.2024 have been registered for investigation. However, in course of investigation, it revealed that Purba Jadavpur Police Station Inquest No. 55 dated 02.05.2024 and Post Mortem No. 1094 were collected and after collection of materials, police authorities also sent for prayer before the State Forensic Science Laboratory for Mechanical Expert Report. Statements of witnesses were recorded by the investigating authority. Having considered that steps were taken at the relevant point of time, if the petitioner is aggrieved by any action of the police authorities, she would approach the jurisdictional court in seisin of Panskura Police Station Case No. 499 of 2024. Learned court would on assessment of the

grievance of the petitioner pass necessary orders as he deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 23777 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
