Having heard the learned advocate for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor-in-charge and considering the statutory restrictions contained in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. However, it is submitted that the charge sheet has been filed and the Special Court has fixed the date of trial on 6th and 7th December, 2022. The learned Trial Judge is requested to expedite the hearing of the matter since the accused is in custody.
