1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. Learned counsel for the State has produced a report and submits that on requisition from the NIA, sanction for prosecution was accorded by the Commissioner of Police, Kolkata under Section 7 of the Explosive Substances Act, 1908 for trial of 14 accused persons for committing the offence punishable under various provision of Explosive Substances Act, 1908, by order dated 19.01.2023.

3. Let such report be taken on record. The copy of the report has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner after perusing the prayer clause of the PIL and the report submits that the PIL has rendered infructuous. The other side has no objection.

5. The PIL is dismissed having rendered infructuous.
