Case No.84 of 2022 dated 01.04.2022 under Sections 285/286 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 24/26 of the West Bengal Fire Service Act and Sections 4/5 of the Explosive Substances Act.

We have considered the materials on record. Explosive substances have already been recovered.

Custodial interrogation for the progress of investigation is not necessary. Under such circumstances, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of `10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and on further condition that the petitioner shall meet the Investigating Officer once in a week until further orders.

Petitioner shall appear before the court below and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
