Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

The writ petition is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner and the West Bengal Central School Service Commission.

However, other respondents are not represented.

The learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that an application seeking general transfer on the ground of distance was preferred on 16th July, 2022 on Utsashree portal and the same was forwarded to the concerned District Inspector of Schools by the school authority for taking further steps.

However, petitioner was found to be a single teacher and accordingly as it appears from a document at page 19 of the writ petition that the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Jhargram being

respondent no.3 made endeavour to find out a willing teacher from neighbouring school who can man the post of the petitioner temporarily on petitioner's transfer.

It further appear that willing teacher was not found which prevented the respondent no.3 to forward the transfer application to the office of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission for deciding the transfer application finally.

Since steps appears to have been taken by the respondent no.3 in terms of the Government notification dated 3rd January, 2022 this Court finds that no further order need be passed on this writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to make further application for transfer in accordance with law, if situation permits. There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned Advocates for the parties on the usual undertakings.
