The writ petitioner allege that the AGM Ct 32 representations made by the writ petitioners on August 12, 2022 praying for withdrawal of the closure notice and for issuance of the consent to operate the brick fields have been kept pending for along time.

After hearing the learned advocate for the parties and upon considering the materials placed, this Court is of the view that the interest of justice would be subserved if a direction is passed upon the concerned District Land & Land Reforms Officer to consider the representations of the petitioners dated August 12, 2022 and to dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order.

Accordingly, WPA 23216 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the District Land and Land Reforms

Officer, Purba Medinipur, being respondent No. 4 herein to consider the representations of the petitioners dated August 12, 2022 and to dispose of the same after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners or their authorised representatives and by passing a reasoned order. The reasoned order shall thereafter be communicated to the writ petitioners. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order along with the copies of the representations dated August 12, 2022.
