1. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

Considering the materials available in the case diary, the nature and extent of complicity of the petitioner in the commission of the alleged offence and having regard to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. in which apart from false promise to marry, the petitioner alleged to have taken substantial amount in consideration thereof, we are of the view that there are sufficient incriminating materials against the petitioner revealed from the case diary for which we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Moreover, we have taken note of the fact that he is a police personnel.

3. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
