The death of the victim is not being properly investigated. The person named in the FIR has not been arrested yet. Post-mortem examination was done belatedly. It appears that there is also a CCTV camera regarding some images pertaining to the incident. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the case diary and submits as follows. The post-mortem report shows that such injury could be caused by an accident.

There are statements of post-occurrences witnesses who had seen the victim fallen on the ground along with motorcycle. Investigation is going on and all options will be explored before coming to a final conclusion. Let the Investigation be concluded expeditiously and in

accordance with law.

If the petitioner is aggrieved with the outcome of the investigation, he shall be at liberty to file a protest petition before the learned trial Court.

No further order need be passed in this regard. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
