Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of information submitted with the Inspector-inCharge, Borjora Police Station, although the vehicle was recovered, but the petitioner alleges that the police authorities did not register any case. As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr. Suman Sengupta, learned advocate along with Ms. Rupsha Chakraborty, learned advocate, who ordinarily appear for the State, is directed to represent the State. Their appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

I find from the records of the writ petition that notices were issued under Sections 160 and 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Having considered the same, presumably certain steps were taken by Borjora Police Station. Consequently, petitioner would address and inform to the concerned police station regarding the details of any case, if registered at the concerned police station. The Inspector-in-Charge would inform the petitioner regarding the particular case reference under which such notices were issued under

Sections 160 and 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 24612 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
