(A) 4898 of 2022 In Re: - An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 in connection with Sagardighi Police Station Case No. 452 of 2022 dated 27/09/2022 under Sections 448/325/307/379/427/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the fact that the medical report does not disclose any serious physical injury, we are inclined to allow the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.

Accordingly, in the event the petitioners are arrested, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties each of like amount, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer. The petitioners shall be subjected to the conditions of Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and shall make themselves available for investigation whenever the petitioners are called for the same.

In the event the petitioners fail to comply with the above conditions, the Court below shall be at liberty of cancelling this order without further reference to this Court.
