Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits petitioner has been identified in the course of TI Parade. We have considered materials on record. Petitioner and others had abducted the de facto complainant and demanded ransom. Petitioner has been identified as the person who received the ransom money in the course of TI Parade.
In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. Court below is requested to take immediate steps to commit the case to the court of sessions and upon commitment the sessions court shall take necessary steps to take the proceeding to its logical conclusion in accordance with law.
