Writ petition is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner, West Bengal Central School Service Commission and the Staterespondents. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has prayed for transfer and the petitioner was appointed as an assistant teacher in the selection process i.e. 1st State Level Selection Test 2016 (classes IX and X).

The learned advocate representing the Commission submits that the entire selection process of 1st SLST 2016 (classes IX, X, XI and XII) has been set aside by the Hon'ble Division Bench and the issue is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

In view of pendency of the issue before the Hon'ble Supreme court no order need be passed on this writ petition and accordingly the writ petition stands dismissed.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law with regard to transfer in future if situation so arises. There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
