Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses implicating the petitioner in the torture of the victim who suffered unnatural death within one and half of marriage. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.
