From the report placed before this Court signed by the engineers of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, Borough - VII on 15th February, 2023, it appears that unauthorised construction has been detected and the department has processed the case under Section 400 of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980. Hearing is being conducted before the Special Officer, Building. As it appears that proceeding has already been initiated to deal with the unauthorised construction, accordingly, the concerned officer shall conclude the proceeding in accordance with law, after giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The writ petition and the connected application being CAN 1 of 2023 stands disposed of.
